Become a volunteer
If you have skills to offer and the heart to give to your community please phone us, call in for a chat or complete the 'Volunteer Form' below and we'll be in touch.
To become a SuperGrans volunteer, you will attend an introduction group meeting, an interview and a volunteer induction workshop. All our volunteers are required to complete police vetting forms and offer two referees.

What our current volunteers are doing
- One-to-one mentoring: we have volunteers working in people's homes to pass on a variety of valuable skills.
- Workshops: our volunteers deliver and assist with workshops we run for our community.
- Connect + Chat: our volunteers help with our weekly sessions on mending and handicrafts, employment skills and the parent group.
- Skills Clubs at Katikati Primary School: our volunteers are working with small groups of senior students to teach them cooking, crafts and grow a productive garden on a weekly basis during the lunch hour.
- Administration: there's always plenty to do in our office and we have volunteers who help us out when we can't keep up!
